OnKey Cosplay

My name is Key and I am a queer, Black woman cosplayer! My Blackness has been, and continues to be, the most formative aspect of my personhood. As someone with two degrees in Black Studies, being Black is a part of everything I do, including my cosplays. I try my best to incorporate my own flares to all of my costumes. My main focus is how versatile my hair is in transforming it to create a new look for the characters I cosplay. Through styling and coloring my hair, I can integrate my culture into my cosplays. Cosplaying has been a fantastic journey so far and I can’t wait to see where it takes me in future.
